Set up TiviMate Player on Android phone and tablet
The same credentials you use on the television, on the device in your pocket. Remember that only one screen can play at a time.

Before you start
- The credentials email we send once your order is confirmed — either an M3U link, or a server address with a username and password.
- The device you want to watch on, connected to the internet.
- Around 15 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K, measured on that device.
Which app to use

The same listing as on the television, which matters for one practical reason: a phone has a keyboard. Type the server address here first, check it loads, and you will know the credentials are right before you start fighting a d-pad on the TV.
Past 5 million downloads, 4.2 stars across about 8,360 ratings, last updated 22 June 2026. Checked 4 October 2026.
It was designed for a remote. On a phone the controls are sized for a cursor you do not have, so it works but it never feels native. If the phone is your main screen rather than your typing tool, tell support and we will point you at something built for a thumb. Published by Armobsoft FZE, unconnected to us.
We publish none of these applications and receive nothing from their developers. Any player that takes an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login will work with your subscription — this is simply the one we see working best here.
The steps, in order
- 1
Install a player from the Play Store
Search for an IPTV player and install it. Players built for a television work on a phone but feel cramped; ask support which one we recommend for a touchscreen.
- 2
Open it and add your service
The first screen offers a playlist or an Xtream Codes login.
- 3
Enter your credentials — and use the keyboard
This is the one thing a phone does better than any television. Paste the server address from the email rather than retyping it, long-press the field to check it pasted whole, and confirm the port survived. A d-pad gives you none of that, which is why most empty channel lists are born on a TV remote.
- 4
Start watching
The channel list loads, then the guide. On mobile data, expect to drop to HD rather than 4K unless the signal is strong — and remember it counts as your one stream, so the television will not play at the same time.
The mistake that stops most people
Watching on the phone while the television is already playing. One subscription allows one stream at a time, and the second device simply fails to start — usually with a message that blames the stream rather than telling you the truth.
Questions about Android
- Can I watch on the phone and the TV at once?
- Not on one subscription — playback is limited to one stream at a time. If two screens need to watch together, write to support about an extra connection.
- How much data does it use?
- Roughly 1 to 1.5 GB an hour in Full HD, more in 4K. On a metered plan, set the app to a lower quality.
- Can I cast to the television?
- Some players support Chromecast, some do not. Casting re-encodes the stream and usually looks worse than installing a player on the TV itself.
