The steps, in order

Install a player from the App Store

Search for an IPTV player and install it. Support names the one we see working best on current iOS if you would rather not pick from the lookalikes.

Open it and add your service

Choose to add a playlist or to log in with a server, username and password.

Enter your credentials

Choose the Xtream Codes login if the app offers it: type the server address, then the username and the password exactly as they appear in your email. If the app only takes a playlist, paste the M3U link instead.

Allow it to load

The channel list comes first and the guide follows. AirPlay to an Apple TV works from most players if you want it on the big screen.
