It is the Tizen app we see working most consistently, and it is still shipping updates — which matters more on a TV app store than anywhere else.

We publish none of these applications and receive nothing from their developers. Any player that takes an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login will work with your subscription — this is simply the one we see working best here.

The steps, in order

Install the app on the television

Open Samsung Apps from the TV home screen, search for an IPTV player, and install it. Support will tell you which one we see working best on Tizen if you would rather not choose.

Note the MAC address it shows

On first launch the app displays a MAC address and a web address. Write the MAC address down exactly — this is how the app ties your playlist to this television.

Register your playlist

On a phone or computer, open the web address the app showed, enter that MAC address, and paste the M3U link from your credentials email.

Reload the app

Close the app on the television and open it again. The channel list downloads, then the programme guide fills in behind it — on a large playlist the first run takes about a minute.

The mistake that stops most people

Typing the MAC address from memory. One wrong character and the app loads nothing, with no message explaining why. Copy it character by character from the screen.
