Set up TiviMate Player on Windows and macOS
A computer is the easiest place to confirm your subscription works, which makes it the first thing to try when something misbehaves elsewhere.

Before you start
- The credentials email we send once your order is confirmed — either an M3U link, or a server address with a username and password.
- The device you want to watch on, connected to the internet.
- Around 15 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K, measured on that device.
Which app to use
VLC media playerby VideoLAN · videolan.org
It has no programme guide and does not try to be a television app — but it plays a playlist in thirty seconds, which makes it the fastest way to prove a stream works.
Free and open source, no advertising and no in-app purchase. Past 500 million downloads on Google Play alone; the macOS and Windows builds come from videolan.org. Checked 4 October 2026.
Use it to test, not to watch. No guide, no channel groups, nothing built for a remote.
We publish none of these applications and receive nothing from their developers. Any player that takes an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login will work with your subscription — this is simply the one we see working best here.
The steps, in order
- 1
Install a player
VLC from videolan.org is the simplest. If you want a programme guide and channel groups, ask support which desktop player we recommend.
- 2
Open your playlist
In VLC: Media, then Open Network Stream, and paste the M3U link from your credentials email. In a desktop IPTV player, use the Xtream Codes login instead.
- 3
Let the list load
VLC shows the channels as a flat playlist. A dedicated player sorts them into groups and loads the guide.
- 4
Use it as your test bench
If a channel plays here but fails on the television, the problem is that device or its app — not your subscription. That one check saves an evening of changing settings at random.
The mistake that stops most people
Judging the service on VLC alone. It has no programme guide and no channel groups by design, so it will always feel bare next to a proper player. It is a test tool, not the way to watch.
Questions about Computer
- Does VLC need any configuration?
- None. Paste the M3U link into Open Network Stream and it plays. There is nothing to log into and nothing to pay.
- Can I watch on a browser instead?
- There is no web player with this subscription. A desktop player or VLC is the route on a computer.
- It plays on the computer but not on my TV box.
- Then the subscription and the connection are fine, and the problem is the box or the app on it. Tell support what you saw and we will take it from there.
